Kayla Lucas M.A., LCPC

Kayla Lucas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a graduate of North Park University where she received her Masters in Counseling Psychology. Kayla specializes in working with adults, couples, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Kayla focuses on helping clients navigate relationship trauma, improve communication, and foster emotional resilience.

Kayla uses psychodynamic therapy to explore how unconscious thoughts, feelings, and past experiences influence current behavior and relationships. She believes that trauma does not define one’s life but through communication and community it is possible to heal all wounds.

She does this by providing a safe, non judgmental space for exploration and healing. Utilizing evidence based approaches, she empowers clients to confront their struggles, build healthy relationships, and find balance in their lives.

Kayla has worked in a hospital setting giving her the experience of more severe trauma as well as private practice serving clients who need to cope with everyday life stressors. Kayla utilizes her clinical experience and research done abroad, to walk alongside clients on their journey to not only effectively draw closer towards others, but closer towards themselves.

Kayla is now accepting self-pay and BlueCross BlueShield clients.

I believe that trauma does not define you. Breaking free of trauma starts with challenging the stigma around mental health. Through therapy, I empower my clients to find strength, confidence, and healing.

Abrea Ramadan M.A., LPC

Abrea Ramadan is a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to supporting the mental health of Arab and Muslim women. She loves working with clients, young adults and beyond in helping them navigate their own unique challenges and experiences.

As a Palestinian Muslim woman, Abrea’s approach to therapy is rooted in a culturally sensitive, compassionate, and trauma informed lens. This means that Abrea collaborates with her clients to acknowledge, identify, and work to accept all parts of their identity (yes, even the parts hidden). Working with Abrea is collaborative and intentional, mixed in with a bit of humor; because she believes you deserve a space created based on your needs. Her goal is to empower individuals to reclaim their narrative and find their roots (or even create new ones), towards healing and growth.

She specializes in anxiety, depression, faith-centered issues, interpersonal relationships, and major life changes. Abrea welcomes clients who wish to integrate faith into their therapeutic journey or seek a clinician who shares their faith.

In her free time, Abrea loves trying out new coffee shops, watching anime, going to the library for a new book, or taking a walk outside!

Abrea is now accepting self-pay clients.
